Requirements
Must:
- Experience as part of an in-building coverage team at AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile, either as an employee or key supplier is essential.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying in-building cellular networks is required.
- Relevant certifications or experience in IP networking, VPN configurations, and firewall installations is mandatory; experience with Fortinet is preferred.
- Proficiency with iBwave is necessary to review designs and recommend improvements.
- Experience in rapid field deployment teams is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project management tools to oversee and track deployment activities is preferred.
- Strong capabilities in prioritization, time management, and organization of work tasks.
- Highly motivated and self-sufficient, able to identify and complete tasks autonomously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Capability to troubleshoot network issues and manage stress during business hours and off-hours if needed.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CTS sales representatives to assess client requirements and create signal source bills of materials that meet both technical project specifications and financial considerations for both CTS and the customer.
- Work alongside CTSs in-building RF engineering teams to analyze iBwave designs, aligning signal source equipment and IP networking hardware with the proposed DAS or small cell in-building cellular solutions.
- Develop documentation related to rack layouts, IP network setups, coax connections, and firewall configurations to ensure technicians can install signal source equipment and connect it appropriately.
- Be available for on-site assistance or remote support with configurations and troubleshooting of IP networks and signal source systems.
- Diagnose and rectify issues in IP networking and signal source functioning during deployments, as well as for challenges faced by active systems during regular and off-hours.
