Requirements
Must:
- Knowledge of security protocols (Firewalls, Patching strategies, email threats, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies
- Proficiency in scripting and coding
- Understanding of networking principles (OSI model, TCP/IP)
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft and Apple solutions
- Background in managing application stacks with virtualization and containerization (VMware)
- Experience with monitoring systems
- Knowledge of automation software (Kace)
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructures
- Install, configure, test, and uphold operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Support the provision of high levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Assess and evaluate application performance for potential bottlenecks and propose solutions
- Help maintain security, backup, and redundancy plans
- Write and uphold custom scripts to enhance system efficiency and reduce the need for manual intervention
- Assist in designing information and operational support systems
- Provide first and second-level support
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT specialists for problem resolution
- Embody, promote, and foster our commitment to excellence through our core values
- Undertake all other duties as assigned
