Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field along with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Fundamental understanding of computer networks including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Strong communication abilities to assist team members and end users.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and focus on client needs.
- Professional English language proficiency is necessary.
- Proven experience with all Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID regulations.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; we will not sponsor work visas for this position.
- Preferred: Masters degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience.
- Familiarity with cloud security measures and systems, especially in hybrid or government cloud settings.
- Experience using security tools for vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Advanced security certificates (e.g., CISA, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
- Knowledge of configuration and change management processes within a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and configuration of network equipment under supervision.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Grasp cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices.
- Adhere to security policies while assisting in the implementation of basic security controls.
- Conduct tests on systems to verify functionality.
- Clearly document configurations, changes, and technical details.
- Revise basic network diagrams and technical documents.
- Collaborate as part of a team with engineers and project personnel.
- Ensure adherence to DoD standards and security mandates.
