Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in PLC programming and HMI development
- Experience in commissioning and debugging control software for Motion, Vision, and Safety systems
- Strong understanding of hardware configurations including inverters and safety devices
- Ability to create detailed documentation adhering to customer standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and assess project risks
- Strong communication abilities to liaise effectively between customers and engineering teams
- Experience in managing project timelines and costs
- Knowledge of production quality assurance processes
Responsibilities
- Oversee time and cost management for projects
- Commission, debug, and test PLC, HMI, and control software at customer sites
- Configure and initiate hardware devices including manifolds and motors at customer locations
- Collaborate with the engineering team during the handover phase
- Work together to identify potential project risks
- Develop documentation that meets customer commissioning standards
- Participate actively in team and project review sessions
- Coordinate activities between internal and outsourced software teams
- Serve as a technical liaison on-site between customers and engineering
- Monitor and document updates and variations from the original project scope
- Ensure all system functionalities meet cycle-time and quality standards
- Provide customer training and maintenance guidelines
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Software Commissioning Engineer to join our Commissioning & Site organization. In this role, youll be accountable for commissioning and debugging software developed during the engineering phase, focusing on PLC programs, HMI, and specialized applications. You will engage in all project phases from power-on through to full automatic production at customer sites.
