Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in C# and VB.NET (intermediate to advanced level)
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Progress Databases (intermediate level)
- Basic knowledge of Crystal Reports development
- Basic understanding of Microsoft SSRS reporting
- Related bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
- Over 4 years of experience in Microsoft .NET programming
- Previous experience with Epicor applications is advantageous
- Ability to read, interpret, develop, implement, and test solutions based on specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
- Professional and pleasant demeanor in all client and internal interactions
- Resourceful with sound judgment and effective decision-making skills
- Capable of working independently and managing daily tasks without direct supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and efficiency in daily operations
- Ability to own issues through resolution while knowing when to escalate problems appropriately
- Demonstrates empathy and professionalism with users consistently
- Capacity to collaborate well with clients at all levels
- Driven, energetic, and results-oriented
- Valid drivers license and reliable personal vehicle required for occasional evening or weekend work
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical team within the Enterprise Systems Group to ensure adherence to processes and delivery of technical functions
- Streamline onboarding processes through training and shadowing
- Make decisions aimed at enhancing efficiency without compromising on-time delivery to clients
- Collaborate with consulting leads to provide high-quality solution design
- Develop and test tailored software solutions with precision
- Document any modifications to client software in accordance with company policies
- Oversee assigned tasks to ensure deadlines and milestones are met by the team
- Conduct training sessions for end users on Epicor technical tools
- Mentor team members as needed and assist in their hiring and onboarding processes
- Contribute actively to the enhancement of development team processes, policies, and procedures
- Provide guidance and escalation paths for ticket/task-related issues to maintain customer satisfaction
- Uphold a positive representation of the company both internally and externally
- Support the performance and development of Technical Team Members and monitor their training plans
- Assist the Director in executing quarterly performance evaluations for direct reports
- Troubleshoot and evaluate alternative solutions to challenges that arise
- Maintain and accurately submit daily timesheets and expense reports
- Facilitate weekly team meetings and attend Epicor Escalation Meetings
- Carry out additional responsibilities as needed
