Requirements
Must:
- 3-5+ years of progressively responsible IT experience
- Strong background in systems administration
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Familiarity with evaluating or implementing new technologies is a plus
- Associate or Bachelors degree in an IT-related field is desirable
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Administrator, or equivalent certifications preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Knowledgeable in VPN, remote access, and endpoint security solutions
- Understanding of LAN/Wi-Fi networking principles
- Familiar with backup and disaster recovery systems
- Experience working with HP and Dell hardware environments
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities
- Organized and process-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Strategic thinker with a practical approach to execution
- Ability to work independently while being accountable and collaborative
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Intune, and related infrastructure
- Manage user lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and account administration
- Deploy and support a range of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Conduct routine system maintenance, including patching and upgrades
- Monitor system performance, security posture, and backup protocols
- Keep accurate documentation of systems and procedures
- Ensure adherence to internal IT policies and change management guidelines
- Act as the primary resource for internal IT support (Tier 1-3)
- Manage the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and clear documentation
- Provide professional support and assistance to all employees
- Identify and work to minimize recurring technical issues
- Deliver occasional after-hours support when required
- Develop and maintain a technology roadmap in alignment with company objectives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and automation tools
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend technology-based solutions
- Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concept trials for new technologies
- Assess potential solutions on criteria such as ROI and security
- Present technology recommendations to leadership and support wider organizational adoption
- Monitor and report on measurable outcomes from innovation efforts
