Must:

- Proficient in designing and supporting Linux infrastructure in both on-premise and AWS settings
- Strong skills in Linux system administration, including updates, capacity planning, and lifecycle management
- Knowledgeable in deploying enterprise applications on Linux, such as SAP and SAP HANA
- Ability to collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams for modernizing UNIX/Linux workloads
- Experience integrating Linux systems with Nutanix virtualization and enterprise storage
- Familiarity with implementing Linux security measures, access controls, and compliance protocols
- Expertise in automation and scripting for enhanced system reliability and efficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex infrastructure and production troubleshooting
- Capable of creating and maintaining documentation and operational standards
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for critical system support
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise Linux environments
- Build and support Linux infrastructure solutions in both on-premise setups and AWS
- Administer Linux systems, including performing patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
- Enhance the deployment and performance of enterprise applications on Linux
- Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to migrate and modernize UNIX/Linux workloads
- Integrate Linux systems with Nutanix virtualization and enterprise storage platforms
- Enforce security hardening, access control, and compliance standards for Linux systems
- Utilize automation and scripting for greater system reliability and operational efficiency
- Provide technical oversight and coordination with managed service providers
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and production issues
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation and operational procedures
- Engage in on-call rotations to support critical systems
