Requirements
Must:
- Four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Java
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
- Experience with Microsoft Product Suite
- Knowledge of software version control
- 3 to 5 years of experience in satellite telemetry and commanding
- Experience with EPOCH Product Suite
- Proficient in Git Version Control
- Familiarity with OASYS (Orbital Analysis System)
- Experience in MILSATCOM operations
- Skills in scripting/programming (Perl, C, Shell, Batch, etc.)
- Experience with software regression testing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Capacity to adhere to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and a quick learner
- Must pass a government security investigation and meet eligibility for classified information access
Responsibilities
- Support dynamic and fast-paced projects through all software development lifecycle phases
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and customer support of various data products
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of satellite program data products, including APIs, databases, and GUIs
- Generate efficient estimates and status updates for design efforts, including preparation of materials for internal and external use
- Collaborate with a small team to innovate and improve software solutions
- Maintain strong communication with team members and customers regarding project status and needs
