Requirements
Must:
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens can obtain a security clearance
- Ability to acquire and uphold a U.S. government security clearance is essential
- Relevant professional experience in software development with object-oriented programming languages like Java or C++
- Comprehensive experience in full life cycle development, including software requirements, design, development, debugging, and testing
- Strong foundation in computer science principles such as data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval
- Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience
- Preferred experience with technologies such as GraphQL, REST, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgresql, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, Typescript, HTML/CSS
- Experience with mathematical solutions and algorithm development for sensors and Command and Control programs
- Familiarity with Linux environments and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of cybersecurity processes including vulnerability assessments
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, design, architecture, and development of significant software capabilities in an active Agile environment
- Exhibit leadership by coordinating activities among multiple engineers to ensure successful technical execution and delivery of customer solutions
- Proactively identify issues and motivate teams to make immediate and effective adjustments, preventing larger complications
- Communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing—with various stakeholders, while preparing and presenting information tailored to the audience
- Collaborate within a highly interactive team to innovate and design software solutions
- Travel requirements of up to 25%
