Requirements
Must:
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to secure and maintain a government-issued security clearance.
- Proficient in automated software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Experienced with implementing a DevSecOps platform (e.g., GitLab or GitHub Enterprise).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Maven, Make, Git, Artifactory, Sonatype, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Skilled in scripting within a Linux environment (e.g., Perl, Python, Bash).
- Experience supporting software in virtualized settings (e.g., VMware) and cloud-native deployments.
- Proficient in investigating and addressing security issues in software and development environments.
- Typically requires a degree in a STEM field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain current software development pipelines while extending them to include automated deployment and testing (CI/CD).
- Actively explore and evaluate new CI/CD solutions, tools, and capabilities, developing strategies for effective migration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks, automate testing, enhance efficiency, and improve software security.
- Standardize and document DevOps processes, providing training to team members.
- Assist the IT department in administering and maintaining tools to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Set up new projects, create software source code and configuration repositories, and manage user access.
