Must:
I am seeking a candidate with over 12 years of experience in backend software engineering, specifically with Golang or similar programming languages, alongside a solid understanding of mobile and web development. You should have a proven history of delivering impactful solutions that enhance software development. Experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining high-throughput and low-latency production services is essential. A strong grasp of client development and experience in driving performance improvements are necessary, as well as a background in architecting and developing solutions to complex problems with significant impacts. You will need to exhibit strong operational rigor to influence and ensure high-quality, reliable services. Additionally, a deep technical understanding of building distributed systems that manage large-scale processes, coupled with excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, is required. A relentless pursuit of ambitious goals and a passion for creating an inclusive financial system that connects the world are also important.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will identify opportunities within Coinbase to enhance productivity, defining and driving outcomes based on our strategic goals. You will serve as a thought leader in this area, influencing stakeholders across various organizations involved in building Coinbase products or overseeing financial operations. Additionally, you will participate in shaping the strategy and execution plan of the DevX organization. Your role will involve making high-quality technical contributions that inform our multi-year roadmap for DevX. You will manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, leveraging your technical expertise. Mentoring and training team members on design techniques and coding standards will also be a crucial aspect of your position. Ultimately, you will be responsible for writing high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer requirements.
