Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in an IT environment
- Experience with terminal operations and technologies is desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical skills, including data extraction, compilation, and analysis
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, CWNA) are highly regarded but not always required
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and safely when needed
- Willingness to accommodate a flexible schedule in a 24/7 facility, including nights and weekends
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and adherence to safety practices
- Ability to qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Card and pass an internal background check
Responsibilities
- Provide application and helpdesk support, troubleshooting systems such as OCR, RFID, GPS, Gate, and Appointment Systems
- Configure workstations and network devices
- Monitor and troubleshoot various terminal applications and systems
- Perform hardware installation, maintenance, and repair for PCs, tablets, industrial devices, and LTE hardware
- Offer hardware support for networking, servers, LTE/Wi-Fi, and CCTV
- Document configurations and operational procedures
- Meet established customer service standards and follow escalation protocols during system failures
- Facilitate cross-training, knowledge transfer, and documentation of all processes
- Research technical and procedural issues, escalating to appropriate vendors as needed
