Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Capability to autonomously create and implement QA test plans.
- Extensive background in white-box, black-box, integration, data verification, and UI testing.
- Proficient in documenting defects in a clear and detailed manner.
- Familiarity with working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Knowledge of API validation and backend service testing.
- Experience with Rally or similar defect-tracking systems.
- Understanding of Ruby and Rails.
- Background in automated QA testing and developing automated test suites.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee detailed software test plans including UI, backend integrations, APIs, and functional areas.
- Conduct white-box and black-box testing, validate user workflows, and verify data.
- Organize and execute testing tasks in an iterative manner to achieve weekly release schedules.
- Monitor QA outcomes, maintain detailed records of defects, and communicate issues using Rally.
- Work closely with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum contexts.
- Ensure interoperability and system integration across various tools and platforms.
- Contribute to the development and execution of automated QA test suites.
- Identify quality gaps in software, suggest enhancements, and assist in evolving testing methodologies.
