Requirements
Must:
- A technical degree is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to diagnose issues with equipment.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent advanced degree.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in:
1. Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 11), MAC OS.
2. Office 365 and Microsoft Software (SharePoint, Teams).
3. PC hardware troubleshooting, including PLCs, scanners, and printers.
Responsibilities
- I will serve as the primary escalation point for IT support technicians while providing direction as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Additionally, I will assist in training and mentoring the IT Support staff to ensure top-notch technical support in alignment with established company protocols.
- I will assist in managing IT staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- I will provide ongoing informal performance feedback to Field Services leads and management regarding IT technicians.
- I will assign tasks to the appropriate Field Services team members.
- I will lead ongoing improvements within the field services area.
- I will be responsible for implementing IT Support projects related to new business or IT initiatives.
- I will offer hands-on IT support for end-user hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, particularly within clinical and warehouse environments.
- I will travel to remote clinic locations to install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- I will install and maintain clinical peripherals (e.g., medical printers, barcode scanners, label printers) while ensuring compliance with healthcare IT standards.
- I will troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues and escalate complex incidents as necessary.
- I will support audiovisual equipment, telemedicine tools, and video conferencing setups in clinics and office settings.
- I will maintain precise documentation for service tickets, site visits, hardware inventories, and software licenses.
- I will collaborate with central IT and vendor teams for escalations, upgrades, and hardware procurement.
- I will comply with local data privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) when working in healthcare environments.
- I will engage in IT deployments, relocations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- I will provide off-hours or weekend support as needed for critical site visits or go-lives.
- I will build relationships and trust with customers and clients.
- I will adhere to the company’s rules and regulations.
- I will collaborate with colleagues and team members.
Description
This position requires occasional travel between 50 to 200 miles to cover nearby locations. The salary for this role is contingent upon the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. Moreover, it is also eligible for our discretionary annual incentive program based on performance, subject to the terms of the applicable plans.
