Requirements
Must:
- 15+ years in IT and enterprise architecture with a strong engineering background (Java/.NET preferred)
- 5+ years in AI/ML, including at least 1 year focused on Generative & Agentic AI
- Proficient in model training methods (SFT, RLHF, LoRA/QLoRA), RAG, and evaluation processes
- Architect-level certifications in a minimum of two hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Extensive experience in MLOps/LLMOps, particularly with CI/CD, monitoring, and compliance
- Established track record in CxO-level advisory and strategic AI initiatives
- Knowledgeable about AI governance frameworks (NIST RMF, EU AI Act, Responsible AI)
- Strong leadership capabilities in mentoring and developing cross-functional AI teams
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native AI platforms utilizing LLMs, SLMs, and multi-agent orchestration while ensuring security, scalability, and adherence to industry standards
- Lead high-level discussions to outline AI roadmaps and investment strategies, acting as the primary architect for key client relationships
- Deliver customized AI use cases across various sectors, including Banking, Healthcare, Retail, and Manufacturing
- Manage the complete model development lifecycle, encompassing data preparation, training, fine-tuning, deployment, and optimization
- Establish robust enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines for monitoring, observability, and adherence to compliance standards, while defining governance frameworks for agent lifecycle management
- Build and oversee AI capability teams, providing mentorship to architects and engineers, assisting in the hiring process, and supporting succession planning
- Collaborate with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), independent software vendors, and startups to co-develop offerings and influence partner strategies
- Contribute to the field through publishing white papers, filing patents, and representing Cognizant in industry discussions and forums
