SAP FICO Vertex Consultant

In this role, I will lead and execute full lifecycle implementations of Vertex tax solutions, which includes the configuration and integration with SAP. My responsibilities will encompass the following: - Designing and configuring tax processes within Vertex to comply with both business and regulatory requirements. - Establishing and managing the connectivity between Vertex and third-party systems, including overseeing data flow and validation processes. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify gaps, and design scalable tax solutions. - Providing expertise in SAP tax configuration, particularly within FICO modules, ensuring a seamless integration with Vertex. - Managing on-site and offshore teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within the defined scope. - Conducting workshops, preparing documentation, and delivering presentations to both technical and business stakeholders. - Supporting project management activities that include planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. - Identifying opportunities to enhance team capabilities and improve overall delivery efficiency.
