We are looking for a highly expert Senior Architect with 14 to 18 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have deep technical skills in Java, database and SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Data Management, Functional MDM Architecture, and IBM MDM Sophisticated Edition. Proficiency in English for reading and writing is essential. Additional requirements include extensive experience in Java programming and application development, solid skills in database design, SQL, and data modeling, as well as proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting for automation and system operations. In-depth knowledge of MDM Architecture and experience in data management functions, including data governance and data quality, is also a must. It’s a plus if you have experience integrating MDM solutions with other enterprise systems and mentoring junior team members. Candidates should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model and must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to own the design and implementation of sophisticated MDM solutions using IBM MDM Advanced Edition. You will supervise the development and maintenance of Java-based applications to support data management initiatives. Your responsibilities will include guiding database design, SQL query optimization, and data modeling to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. You will also develop and maintain Unix Shell Scripts to automate data processing tasks and system operations. Collaboration with multi-functional teams to define data management strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives is a core aspect of this position. Implementing standard processes for data governance, data quality, and data security to maintain the integrity of enterprise data will be vital. Furthermore, you will conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of MDM systems, mentor junior team members, evaluate new technologies and tools, provide technical leadership in the integration of MDM solutions, develop comprehensive documentation, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support continuous improvement of data management processes.
Description
We prefer candidates who hold certifications such as IBM Certified Solution Architect - Master Data Management and Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer. The annual salary for this position will depend on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate. This role is also eligible for our discretionary annual incentive program, which is based on performance.
