Must:
We are seeking a skilled API automation professional with expertise in Playwright. The ideal candidate will possess between 6 to 10 years of experience in test automation and be proficient in programming languages such as Java or Python. Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, or Appium is essential. Furthermore, experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) systems like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is beneficial. Your skills in API testing tools, including Postman, REST Assured, and SoapUI, will be highly valued. An understanding of cloud technologies and containerization using AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes will set you apart as well.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will establish an overarching quality assurance strategy that aligns with our business objectives and technical architecture. You will design scalable, maintainable, and reusable test frameworks and automation architectures. Leading the development of automation frameworks for functional, performance, security, and regression testing will be a key aspect of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will review test code and promote best practices in test automation and software quality. Providing guidance and technical leadership to QA engineers and testers will be crucial, as will collaborating closely with DevOps, development, and product teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Additionally, you will evaluate and recommend testing tools, integrations, and automation platforms while communicating quality metrics, risks, and coverage to stakeholders. Tracking key performance indicators for quality and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements will also fall under your purview.
