Must:
I am seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Education: A Master's or PhD degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in architecting Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence solutions across various domains.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Generative AI, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, and decision-making algorithms. Proficient in Python and modern AI frameworks is essential.
- Cloud & Tools Expertise: Experience in deploying solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business process automation with the ability to communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated history of developing scalable, high-performance AI solutions within Agile environments, showcasing attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
- Consulting Skills: Exceptional collaboration and leadership abilities alongside consulting or enterprise experience in various industries. Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements is required.
Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect at Cognizant’s Advanced AI Lab, I will expect you to:
- Design & Implement AI Solutions: Lead the architecture and execution of Generative and Agentic AI systems across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, and finance to facilitate intelligent, autonomous business processes.
- Optimize with AI: Leverage generative models (like GPT, Gemini, and Claude) along with agent-based AI to automate intricate workflows, enhancing productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Clients: Partner with stakeholders to pinpoint high-impact AI opportunities, revolutionizing traditional workflows into adaptive, self-managing systems.
- Ensure Solution Delivery & Scalability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee scalable, reliable, and high-performing AI implementations, from initial concept to ongoing optimization.
- Lead & Educate: Conduct client workshops and training sessions, respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), draft Statements of Work (SOWs), and provide mentorship while remaining abreast of emerging AI trends and technologies.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $158,500 to $186,000 depending on qualifications and experience, and the position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock options based on performance. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) contributions, disability coverage, paid parental leave, and employee stock purchase plans.
