Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years in IT systems, infrastructure, or IT management
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and endpoint management
- Extensive experience with ERP systems (essential)
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and data modeling (Power Query / Power Pivot)
- Solid expertise in SQL and data manipulation
- Experience in creating reports using Power BI or similar platforms
- Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and Microsoft 365
- Background in leading or implementing automation initiatives
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki, Cisco Duo, and Barracuda Email Filter
- Knowledgeable about e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
- Experience in the manufacturing, apparel, or distribution sectors
- Awareness of AI tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, and Power Automate
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage various systems and multiple priorities independently
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the IT operations team to ensure all IT systems function efficiently
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices that align with our company objectives
- Manage Microsoft 365 applications including Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Supervise network operations, endpoint management, cloud systems, and remote access protocols
- Ensure system security, data backups, and business continuity plans are effectively maintained
- Cultivate vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services, software, and licensing
- Proactively monitor system performance and resolve any issues that arise
- Enhance and support our ERP (Visual Next) and PLM systems
- Analyze ERP data structures, relationships, and workflows effectively
- Write and refine SQL queries for reporting requirements and data validation
- Create automated reports using Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot) and Power BI
- Uphold data accuracy and consistency across our systems
- Assist with system integrations and improvements continuously
- Implement and manage cybersecurity measures including MFA and endpoint protection
- Oversee identity and access management processes including user provisioning
- Monitor and respond swiftly to security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Identify and leverage AI tools to streamline internal processes and boost efficiency
- Lead the deployment of automation and AI-driven solutions
- Keep abreast of emerging AI technologies and propose practical applications within the business
- Offer daily technical support to our team members
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding workflows
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues as they arise
- Collaborate with teams to identify needs and deliver effective solutions
- Clearly communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
- Enhance reporting, data management, and operational effectiveness across departments
