Requirements
Must:
- Certification 310T as a truck and coach technician is mandatory
- Valid drivers license (Class B CDL preferred)
- Experience with coaches, buses, or heavy fleet vehicles is considered a significant asset
- Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and computerized maintenance systems
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Capacity to provide technical support and mentorship within a team

Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on coaches, buses, and company vehicles
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections to ensure fleet reliability and safety
- Carry out safety inspections and ensure vehicles comply with all regulatory and company standards
- Restore vehicles and equipment to safe operational condition following established maintenance procedures
- Offer daily guidance and technical support to mechanics, apprentices, and bus wash employees
- Assist in prioritizing work orders and coordinating repairs based on operational needs
- Support the diagnosis and resolution of complex mechanical or electrical issues
- Foster safe working practices and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures and health and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records pertaining to maintenance, repairs, inspections, and parts usage
- Utilize maintenance management systems and diagnostic tools to document completed work
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and applicable transport regulations
- Help identify repair priorities to minimize vehicle downtime
- Support fleet availability by addressing urgent mechanical issues as necessary
- Perform any additional tasks as needed

We are currently seeking a certified 310T truck and coach technician to join our maintenance team in Niagara Falls in a lead hand role. This position combines hands-on mechanical expertise with daily workshop coordination to ensure repairs and preventive maintenance are performed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
