Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Python, including familiarity with NumPy, pandas, and other relevant libraries
- Experience with either PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Strong grasp of machine learning principles such as gradient descent, cross-validation, and evaluation metrics like ROC curves and confusion matrices
- Familiarity with classical machine learning techniques such as support-vector machines and logistic regression
- Knowledge of computer vision algorithms, particularly object detection networks (e.g., YOLO, CenterNet) and modern image classification methods
- Previous experience working with Department of Defense clients is advantageous
- Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline; advanced degrees (M.S. or Ph.D.) are preferred
- Exceptional technical communication skills
- Willingness to work in Durham, NC (relocation assistance available)
- Required eligibility for US security clearance (US citizenship is mandatory)
