Senior ML Ops Engineer - Matterport

- Analyze and evaluate machine learning models to pinpoint performance issues and opportunities for enhancement. - Execute model optimization methods like quantization, pruning, distillation, and neural architecture search to elevate inference speed and minimize resource usage. - Create and incorporate specialized libraries and tools for efficient model execution across different hardware platforms (e.g., GPUs, CPUs, edge devices). - Collaborate with ML R&D Engineers to grasp model architectures, training processes, and deployment necessities. - Design and run experiments to assess the influence of optimization techniques on model performance and accuracy. - Automate workflows for model optimization and establish robust CI/CD pipelines for optimized models. - Remain updated on the latest research and trends in ML model optimization, hardware advancement, and efficient AI practices. - Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of MLOps standards and infrastructure for model deployment and oversight. - Ensure the scalability and dependability of optimized models in live environments.
