Must:
- Masters degree in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field
- Strong background with Windchill PLM systems
- Experience in Windchill PDMLink administration, upgrades, and integrations across multiple versions
- Proficient in infrastructure planning and system customization
- Skilled in data migration and Solr Cloud configuration
- Knowledgeable about cloud-hosted enterprise systems for PLM
- Familiarity with LDAP configuration and Windchill high availability architecture
- Understanding of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and RDS Database
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, Servlets, JSPs, Linux scripts, and SQL
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow
- Understanding of Oracle SQL Developer, Putty, WinSCP
- Proficient with Windows Server 2019 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server releases
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage infrastructure for both production and non-production Windchill environments
- Lead upgrades and migrations of Windchill PDMLink across various versions from 10.0 to 12.0
- Customize systems to improve functionality and integration with other applications
- Execute data migrations and handle Solr Cloud configurations
- Provide technical support and resolve issues as needed
- Develop innovative solutions for new system requirements and enhancements
- Conduct proof-of-concept projects to showcase capabilities
- Design and maintain Windchill infrastructure adhering to High Availability (HA) architecture principles
- Oversee patching activities and apply Windchill CPS patches
- Configure enterprise LDAP for secure user access and establish advanced access controls
- Manage data replication to globally distributed file servers ensuring efficient user access
- Monitor application performance, diagnose technical issues, and implement effective troubleshooting solutions
Description
We are looking for a Windchill Architect specializing in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for infrastructure planning, system administration, and providing technical support while implementing enhancements and integrations within large-scale PLM environments. We offer a competitive salary of $115,000 per year and the flexibility of telecommuting with occasional visits to client offices located at 4100 Hamline Avenue North, Arden Hills, Minnesota 55112.
