Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Capability to interpret technical specifications
- Experience in crafting persuasive proposals and assessing costs for custom-engineered solutions
- Exceptional critical thinking abilities and capacity to evaluate information from various sources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical presentations
- Familiarity with Clemco/abrasive blasting products and surface preparation is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to sales, engineering, and end-users regarding abrasive air blast processes
- Assess customer applications and recommend suitable blasting media, equipment, and process parameters
- Ensure solutions align with surface requirements and production objectives
- Clearly communicate recommendations through proposals and general arrangement drawings
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for manual and automated blasting systems throughout project phases
- Manage opportunity processes and project cost assessments
- Interact with distributors and customers through written communication
- Participate in collaborative meetings with Clemco and client teams during opportunity management
- Travel to client locations up to 25% for on-site consultations
- Engage in constructive discussions to achieve mutually beneficial resolutions
- Collaborate with project management teams and field sales to prioritize opportunities
- Work closely with engineering and manufacturing to ensure offerings meet design and strategic standards
- Lead cross-functional teams to positively influence project outcomes
- Participate in LEAN initiatives across project management and cross-functional events
- Uphold company values regarding customer experience, quality, and safety
