Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (most recent poly within the last 7 years)
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification
- Experience with integrating, installing, configuring, and supporting software in heterogeneous environments
- Proficiency in Linux shell scripting
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages: C, C++, Java
- Experience in Python programming
- Understanding of GCC compilers, multi-threaded software, and parallel processing concepts
- Exposure to CORBA, J2EE, Perl, or JavaScript
- Working knowledge of configuration management tools
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Experience in supporting HPC GOTS schedulers and resource management software
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Capacity to support mission-critical systems in a 24/7 operational context
Responsibilities
- Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and maintain COTS and GOTS software
- Provide operational assistance for HPC software to ensure system uptime and efficiency
- Support UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems, applications, servers, and networks
- Conduct daily system operations, monitoring, and incident response
- Troubleshoot software, system, and integration challenges
- Escalate issues as necessary and keep Government and internal stakeholders informed
- Enhance system performance, capacity, and resource allocation
- Develop and uphold scripts and tools to assist system operations
- Support HPC schedulers and resource management systems
- Adhere to Government-defined ticketing, change management, and operational processes
- Keep accurate system documentation and sustainment records
Description
At TAP Engineering, we are seeking a Software Integration Engineer II to provide Infrastructure Server and Sustainment support in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments. Our role enhances and complements HPC sustainment capabilities across two geographically dispersed locations and involves the integration and maintenance of the Exceptionally Controlled Information (ECI) data system.
