Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Over 5 years of experience with Apache Spark
- More than 6 years in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics
- Proficient in writing code in Python or Scala
- Experience with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one
- Extensive experience with distributed computing and knowledge of Spark runtime internals
- Understanding of CI/CD for production deployments
- Skilled in designing and deploying high-performance end-to-end data architectures
Responsibilities
- spearhead customer technical projects, including the design and creation of reference architectures and how-to documentation
- counsel key customers on transformative big data and AI projects, providing comprehensive design, implementation, and rollout of top-tier solutions
- deliver architectural and design consultancy, initiating or executing customer projects to ensure effective evaluation and long-term use of Databricks
- offer elevated support for intricate customer operational and technical challenges
- collaborate closely with Databricks technical teams, project managers, architects, and customer representatives to guarantee all technical outputs align with customer needs and project objectives
