Requirements
Must:
- Ability to work onsite
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and the ability to support, troubleshoot, and optimize a Kubernetes-driven HPC system
- Proficient with containers such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Familiarity with automation tools like Grafana and Ansible
- Experience in cluster management
- Knowledge of open-source data tools including Kafka
- Familiarity with cloud databases, particularly AWS databases
- Competent in Linux environments
- Experience with HPC-related tools
Responsibilities
- Assist the client in establishing long-term confidence in network stability by identifying marginal ports, packet drops, and flapping links
- Conduct thorough fabric health monitoring and integrate with existing observability tools
- Execute post-deployment integration tests that extend beyond baseline metrics
- Validate end-to-end system performance in real-world client environments
- Ensure that sustained performance targets are met
- Diagnose performance issues across various layers of the system
- Perform root-cause analysis for detected issues
Description
We are a company located in Milpitas, CA, currently seeking a Senior Kubernetes Engineer for a contract of one month. This position involves working onsite to support the Kubernetes Platform within a High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment.
