Requirements
Must:
- 2–5+ years of experience in EDI analysis, EDI mapping, or business/data analysis.
- Solid understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
- Familiarity with EDI platforms like TrueCommerce and SPS Commerce.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
- Capability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Power BI or APIs.
- Background in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or B2B integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud-based EDI solutions or data governance practices.
- Additional skills in analytics platforms like Visio or familiarity with VBA for automation are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and design scalable EDI solutions utilizing ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and JSON.
- Create, test, maintain, and improve EDI maps, translations, and ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Oversee daily EDI transactions, address issues, and rectify data inconsistencies to reduce operational interruptions.
- Conduct data and business analysis to verify accuracy, detect trends, and support operational reporting.
- Collaborate extensively on-site with IT, finance, operations, supply chain teams, and external trading partners.
- Develop and sustain documentation, mapping specifications, and test plans; offer guidance to business users.
- Promote continuous enhancement efforts, including automation, API integrations, and modernization of outdated EDI processes.
- Assist in audits and reviews to guarantee EDI compliance, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
