Staff Systems Engineer - Cloud Focused

- Lead and advise cross-program System Teams to negotiate customer specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal design guidelines for product system requirements. - Guide System Teams in validation planning in line with automotive functional safety and ASPICE processes. - Develop System Processes in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure compliance with ISO26262 and ASPICE protocols. - Identify gaps in System Processes and lead initiatives for process improvement. - Direct Workgroups to gather, analyze, and disseminate system requirements. - Oversee Teams for optimization of requirements and parameter definition processes. - Analyze performance and design constraints in cross-program teams. - Define system architecture, including sizing and cell selection based on core product portfolio. - Cascade requirements from cross-program System Teams to engineering disciplines and subsystems. - Analyze limiting requirements at all functional levels. - Define system architecture with interfaces for components and engineering disciplines. - Review system-level DFMEA and coordinate with other subsystems and component FMEAs. - Approve specifications and designs for all battery components, including mechanical, electrical, software, and electronic aspects. - Build relationships with suppliers to create component specifications and lead make vs. buy analyses in collaboration with functional groups. - Approve system work packages and test results to support design verification. - Validate engineering documentation to maintain a comprehensive archive of information including engineering calculations, drawings, intellectual property, DFMEAs, validation reports, meeting minutes, and customer communications.
