Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, or a comparable technical discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in Quality Systems Support or Management (preferably within medical device, aerospace, automotive sectors, or battery industries)
- Proven track record of managing internal/external audits, CAPA processes, supplier quality, and QMS maintenance
- IATF 6949 Auditor Certification is ideal, along with certifications such as CQE, CQA, CSSBB (Six Sigma Black Belt), Lean, or ASQ certifications preferred
- Experience with lead acid or battery products is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and refine quality management systems that align with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards
- Maintain and update quality manuals, procedures, SOPs, and documentation related to change control
- Plan and execute internal QMS audits along with supplier audits
- Oversee external audits from certification agencies, customers, and regulatory bodies
- Conduct root cause analyses on non-conformances and lead the initiative for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Employ quality methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, and SPC to drive ongoing improvements
- Track quality KPIs (yield, defect rates, audit results) and create performance dashboards
- Generate reports for management review and facilitate data-driven improvements
- Develop and deliver quality training programs to ensure compliance and awareness
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain to uphold quality standards
- Assess supplier quality, perform vendor audits, and support MRB activities
- Engage in new product development reviews to meet quality requirements
