Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors or masters degree in systems engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive engineering, emphasizing process development and compliance, complemented by hands-on engineering experience. - Proven experience in defining and deploying engineering processes and methods within a regulated development environment. - In-depth knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434, ASPICE, and ISO 26262 standards and their interrelationships. - Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE), requirements management, and safety/security analysis tools. - Experience in engineering and/or process development related to battery systems within an automotive OEM or tier 1 environment is a bonus. - Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama). - Familiarity with process documentation and management tools (e.g., UL Stages). - Demonstrated capability to lead process enhancement initiatives and manage collaboration across functions. - Understanding of configuration management and change control procedures.

Responsibilities

- Lead the creation of our automotive product Cybersecurity Management System in accordance with global regulations and industry benchmarks. - Define and uphold cybersecurity engineering processes congruent with ISO/SAE 21434 throughout the V-model lifecycle. - Incorporate cybersecurity activities into ASPICE foundational practices, ensuring traceability and alignment with system, software, and hardware development processes. - Synchronize the cybersecurity lifecycle with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) processes, encompassing hazard analysis, safety goals, and safety requirements. - Establish and uphold standardized methods for Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), Cybersecurity Goals, Concept and Requirements Engineering, Cybersecurity Verification and Validation, and Cybersecurity Case and Assurance Documentation. - Create and maintain templates, work instructions, checklists, and guidelines for cybersecurity deliverables to ensure compliance and audit readiness. - Implement and sustain engineering tools that facilitate cybersecurity engineering activities and work product management (e.g., TARA development, requirements management, fuzz testing, etc.). - Define and integrate process workflows into engineering tools to guarantee traceability and uniformity. - Develop and provide training materials aimed at educating engineering teams on cybersecurity engineering processes, methods, standards, and tools. - Act as a mentor and coach to engineers, fostering process adherence and continuous enhancement. - Establish baseline process implementation to support development projects. - Align interfaces between cybersecurity engineering processes and adjacent domains (systems, software, hardware, project management, manufacturing, and quality assurance). - Facilitate cross-functional reviews and technical decision-making processes. - Establish and enforce process governance frameworks. - Conduct and assist in regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to internal and external standards. - Support certification and regulatory initiatives in collaboration with quality and compliance teams. - Drive continuous improvement endeavors grounded in lessons learned, assessment results, and industry best practices. - Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and developments in cybersecurity and automotive technologies. - Lead initiatives aimed at process enhancement.
