Must:
- Education: I require candidates to have a Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Sciences, preferably with substantial experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields, or an equivalent background. - Experience: A minimum of seven years of expertise in software development and integration is essential. - Licenses: A valid driver’s license or an equivalent means of transportation is necessary to drive College-owned vehicles and to meet the insurance requirements under the College's authorized driver’s policy. - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Deep understanding and practicality in designing and implementing complex software applications and systems. - Expertise in effectively integrating third-party APIs and additional data sources into current systems. - Proficiency in web technologies, particularly PHP, .Net, and Python. - Comprehensive knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively as a team member. - Willingness and capability to learn new technologies and tools as necessary. - Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a focus on respectful interaction and teamwork within a diverse community.

Responsibilities

I will expect the Principal Programmer Integrator IV to take on the following duties: - Strategically develop and maintain software applications and systems utilizing various web and service technologies, including PHP, .Net, and Python. - Integrate third-party APIs and additional data sources seamlessly into existing systems when needed. - Coordinate effectively with IT team members and stakeholders throughout the institution to identify and fulfill technology-related requirements. - Oversee planning and implementation of new technological initiatives. - Stay current on emerging trends and adhere to best practices in web technologies, APIs, .Net technologies, and AI tools. - Provide essential technical support, documentation, and training as required. - Build and maintain relationships with business partners across assigned organizational units, understanding and meeting their needs within this realm.

Description


The regular working hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, although these may vary depending on the College's or division’s needs. There may be occasional evening and/or weekend work needed to support campus programs and activities, and I might ask you to work outside standard hours when timely responsiveness to our college community is necessary. This position is classified as a full-time, 12-month, year-round, exempt-level position eligible for benefits. There are no supervisory responsibilities for this role. The anticipated salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
