Requirements

Must:
- 1-2 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector. - High School Diploma or equivalent, along with administrative skills or certifications. - Strong skills in customer service and problem-solving, with the ability to handle inquiries with sensitivity and patience. - Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers, bank personnel, and external service providers. - Capability to adhere to detailed instructions and a variety of procedures, exercising sound judgment. - Proficient typing and computer abilities, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with navigation skills in computer applications. - Willingness and eagerness to be cross-trained in various roles within the department.

Responsibilities

- Conduct daily tasks to ensure Civista Bank maintains balance and compliance with Federal standards while monitoring statement notifications. - Enhance the customer experience through regular creation of documents, monetary instruments, and managing incoming and outgoing files, including mail and shipping. - Verify the accuracy of customer account data by investigating and rectifying non-posted transactions, handling stop payment requests, and processing returned deposits. - Review and manage Garnishments, Levies, and Court Orders related to customer deposit accounts. - Interact daily with retail team members to assist in resolving issues for a positive customer experience. - Provide ongoing support that involves research, single source activities, and verifications for customer information, addressing issues such as incorrect addresses and reports. - Perform any additional duties as assigned that contribute to the core responsibilities of the position.
