Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in business systems and process analysis, project management, IT operations, or a related field.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Technology, Public Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Certificate of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), to be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire.
- Preferred certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) or ITIL.
- Successful completion of a criminal history review and police background investigation is required.
Responsibilities
- Translate business and technical needs into a comprehensive architectural framework to meet business goals.
- Support development and architectural initiatives guiding the management of enterprise technologies.
- Advise city departments on selecting, procuring, and implementing innovative technology solutions.
- Provide strategic direction for software applications and technical infrastructure, presenting an annual technology roadmap to city departments.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure new solutions align with existing IT infrastructure, standards, and compliance.
- Review capital improvement projects during the budgeting process and assist in acquiring new technology solutions through proper channels.
- Coordinate projects between IT divisions, vendors, and city departments to expedite delivery of technology solutions.
- Aid city departments in defining project scope and functional requirements for new software.
- Suggest alternative service delivery and automation solutions while assessing their feasibility, security, and sustainability.
- Maintain compliance with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) regulations.

We are the City of Tempes IT Department, looking for a dedicated IT Solutions Architect to join our Business Insights & Solutions team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $89,600 - $132,100, influenced by relevant experience.
