Church IT technician (5 years experience required)

- Deliver comprehensive technical support for all church hardware, software, and network systems to minimize downtime. - Diagnose and resolve software issues across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. - Manage computer hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, ensuring inventory accuracy and performance standards. - Supervise network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), Wi-Fi (including Meraki), DNS configurations, firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP protocols, and network security measures. - Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments, SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), BMC Remedy ticketing system, ServiceNow, Jira, and other ITSM tools for effective service management. - Configure and maintain network devices like switches and routers for optimal connectivity; conduct regular analysis using tools like DNS analysis and TCP diagnostics. - Assist in the deployment and management of digital signage, audio-visual equipment, and mobile devices utilized during services and events. - Work collaboratively with team members to create security protocols, including firewall management and access controls, to protect sensitive information. - Accurately document all technical procedures; generate reports on system performance and incident resolution for ongoing improvement.
