Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI
- Proven track record of implementing Generative AI and LLMs in production or pilot settings
- Strong skills in Python and familiarity with NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Autogen, Strands)
- In-depth knowledge of NLP methodologies and their real-world applications
- Experience working with unstructured data and incorporating AI solutions into business processes
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, including technical writing and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with prompt engineering, model evaluation, and LLM orchestration is preferred
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and MLOps tools is advantageous
- Interaction experience with model validation teams and regulators is a plus
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and execution of solutions utilizing LLMs and Generative AI tools for intricate workflows and processes
- Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to pinpoint high-impact use cases and ensure responsible AI utilization
- Direct efforts for data preparation, including sourcing, cleaning, and structuring data for LLM input and assessment
- Assess model performance, perform error analysis, and iterate on prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques as needed
- Stay updated on emerging trends in Generative AI and NLP, evaluating their applicability to banking solutions
- Mentor junior data scientists and aid in developing best practices for AI integration across the organization
- Clearly convey technical concepts and findings to executive stakeholders, regulators, and cross-functional teams
