Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience in designing and managing cloud architectures across various platforms including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, or Rackspace. - Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Citrix solutions. - Extensive understanding of cloud computing concepts including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and microservices architecture. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell; experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef. - Solid foundation in databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DBMS, or Microsoft SQL Server; familiarity with NoSQL solutions is advantageous. - Knowledge of network security protocols including VPNs and methods for system hardening to secure cloud environments. - Educational background in computer science or related IT fields, with experience in software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps. - Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the skill to communicate intricate technical concepts effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

- Architect and implement cloud solutions utilizing platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, and Rackspace to cater to various business requirements. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and PowerShell to automate deployment processes. - Design and enhance virtualization environments with technologies like VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Citrix to improve resource utilization and scalability. - Create and manage web services and APIs following RESTful standards for efficient application integration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application development using programming languages like Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Go, .NET, and JavaScript within Agile SDLC frameworks. - Execute system hardening and security assessments to ensure adherence to cloud infrastructure security best practices. - Support DevOps methodologies by establishing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, T-SQL, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, and other automation tools to facilitate software deployment.
