Requirements
Must:
- 6 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Practical experience applying Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in production or pilot applications.
- Strong command of Python and familiarity with NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Langgraph, Autogen, Strands, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with unstructured data and incorporating AI solutions into business operations.
- Excellent communication skills, including technical writing and stakeholder interaction.
- Preferred: Experience with prompt engineering and LLM orchestration.
- Preferred: Knowledge of cloud platforms and MLOps tools.
- Preferred: Experience collaborating with model validation teams and regulatory bodies.
- Preferred: Background in Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Required: Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Generative AI-powered solutions using LLMs for intricate workflows and processes.
- Oversee and mentor a team of data scientists, providing technical direction, support for career growth, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify valuable opportunities for Generative AI and formulate solution strategies.
- Supervise data sourcing, preparation, and transformation activities to facilitate model input and evaluation.
- Promote responsible AI practices by working closely with risk, compliance, and model validation teams.
- Drive prompt engineering, model assessment, and iterative enhancement of LLM-centric solutions.
- Keep abreast of developments in Generative AI and NLP and evaluate their relevance to banking applications.
- Contribute to formulating internal standards and best practices for adopting Generative AI.
