Requirements

Must:
We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of five years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Ideally, you should have at least three years of experience in banking, business, or related technical fields. Familiarity with the Jack Henry/Symitar/Episys core processing system is preferred. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess knowledge in Use Case and Wireframe Modeling. A basic understanding of programming languages, APIs, and relational databases is also required. Experience with Project Management frameworks such as Waterfall and Agile, along with knowledge of Core Banking applications, Document Management Systems, CRM, and Digital Banking will be beneficial. We value detail-oriented individuals with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, along with a commitment to delivering quality customer service, are essential. You should be able to exercise independent judgment and take initiative, demonstrate a strong desire to learn, and possess the ability to research, document, plan, and organize effectively. Experience collaborating with project stakeholders and senior decision-makers is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with project sponsors, project managers, and business unit leaders to document and devise solutions that enhance business processes and implement new products and services. You will gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements in a collaborative team environment. Your key tasks include identifying project scope and vision with Project Sponsors, documenting requirements using standard templates, and ensuring they are communicated effectively to all stakeholders. You will translate project requirements into functional requirements that the entire team can comprehend. Additionally, you will conduct research on products and services that meet project needs and relay any changes or enhancements of business requirements to project managers and sponsors. Your role will also involve analyzing and documenting business process workflows, developing testing plans with project teams, participating in QA testing, and acting as a liaison between technical resources and business owners throughout the project lifecycle. Furthermore, you will create project turnover documentation for IT Operations and monitor process performance, providing feedback when necessary.

To qualify for this position, we prefer candidates with a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, or Information Technology. Advanced analytical skills are essential as they apply to requirements gathering, business process analysis and documentation, systems analysis, and troubleshooting.
