Requirements

Must:
- I prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Architecture, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or alternatively, four years of equivalent experience. - I seek extensive technical knowledge of Healthcare Hospital systems, databases, networks, operating systems, and Information Management best practices. This includes local and wide area networking, network protocols, routing, server operating systems, interoperability, data storage and retrieval systems, system backup and recovery, and IP networking. Familiarity with internet/intranet technologies, email, groupware, collaboration tools, voice and data communications, and video conferencing is essential. Additionally, a strong grasp of server hardware, software, and administration is required. - I expect proficiency in project management, technical and analytical skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. - I look for leadership qualities, the ability to multitask, and effective time management skills alongside a clear vision. - I require at least five years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise architecture within Healthcare Hospital system environments, with expertise in various Information Services applications and technologies. Specialized knowledge in system hardware/software, administration, operations, problem identification and resolution, documentation, and project management is a must. - Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies is essential. - I need knowledge in business process analysis and design, particularly regarding information use, EMR, ERP, and CRM systems. - An understanding of security models and their maintenance is expected. - A solid comprehension of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse environments, along with experience in designing and developing both traditional and columnar database solutions, is necessary. - Proficiency in data integration, including ETL techniques and frameworks, is required. - Experience with big data querying tools such as Hive, Impala, and Spark SQL is vital.

Responsibilities

- I assist in formulating the vision and strategy for our information systems while also supporting the development, implementation, communication, and promotion of both strategic and tactical plans. - I conduct research and participate in beta testing for new systems and technologies to evaluate their compatibility with our organization. - I evaluate proposed system acquisitions, providing crucial input regarding compatibility, cost, resource requirements, operations, and maintenance. I develop plans and recommendations to enhance the performance and efficiency of assigned systems, addressing all aspects including hardware, software, and outside services. Additionally, I consider cost-effectiveness, budgetary, and resource issues alongside technical matters, creating and implementing standards and procedures for various technology areas. - I collaborate in developing standards, designing, and implementing proactive measures to gather and report data and statistics on assigned systems. I conduct research and testing to confirm the impact of system installations and assist in building vendor support relationships. - I maintain comprehensive knowledge and current certifications in diverse areas of information technology. - I am responsible for infrastructure design, performance modeling, and capacity planning. - I provide guidance and leadership on architecture design initiatives independently. - I demonstrate the capability to lead teams through complex system design and implementation projects. - I ensure that architectures remain flexible and cater to business needs by understanding both business strategies and infrastructure capabilities. - I work with various technical resources across the team to facilitate the establishment of technical standards. - I communicate effectively and can develop and present solutions to all management levels, including executives. - I engage in gathering requirements and collaborating with both technical and business teams, establishing credibility through experience and presentation. - I assess proposed new systems, system changes, and expansions while overseeing the decision-making process. - I act quickly and decisively in fast-changing, unpredictable situations, showing a strong initiative in challenging circumstances while being adept at identifying and seizing opportunities. I proactively plan projects and tasks within applications. - I apply an advanced understanding of assigned clinical and business operations, processes, and workflows, discussing and identifying dependencies with project team members and stakeholders. I maintain collaborative relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are fully represented in all updates. - I review and provide feedback on documentation created by others, articulating issues and complex concepts appropriately based on the audience. - I foster strong and positive relationships with management at all levels. - I demonstrate an advanced comprehension of business strategies, applying my expertise to help meet customer goals and outcomes. I tackle new challenges through experimentation, learning from both successes and failures, and engage in creative problem-solving beyond standard recommendations.
