Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- I expect a minimum of four (4) years of experience in large corporate systems environments, specifically working with intricate IT systems.
- I also need at least four (4) years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, software development, system administration, system architecture, application architecture, or data system architecture.
- Additionally, a minimum of four (4) years of practical experience with system or application performance modeling and tuning is essential.
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- I assist in developing the information system vision and strategy for our organization and take part in formulating, executing, communicating, and promoting both strategic and tactical plans.
- I analyze and contribute to beta testing of new systems and technologies to assess their suitability for our environment.
- I evaluate proposed system acquisitions and provide critical insights into the decision-making process regarding compatibility, cost, resource requirements, operations, and maintenance. This includes creating plans and recommendations to enhance the performance and efficiency of assigned systems, addressing all aspects such as hardware, software, and external services while considering cost-effectiveness and technical issues. I also develop and implement standards and procedures across multiple technology areas.
- I participate in establishing standards and designing processes to collect and report data related to assigned systems. My role involves research and testing to confirm the impact and advisability of system installations, as well as assisting in developing vendor support relationships.
- I maintain comprehensive knowledge and current certifications in various areas of information technology.
- I am responsible for the design of the infrastructure, performance modeling, and capacity planning.
- I independently provide guidance and leadership in architecture design initiatives, demonstrating my ability to lead teams through complex system design and implementation projects.
- I ensure that architectures remain adaptable and in alignment with business needs by continually understanding business strategies and infrastructure capabilities.
- I collaborate with various technical resources across the team to facilitate the development of technical standards.
- I possess strong communication skills and can effectively present solutions to all levels of management, including executives.
- I participate in requirements gathering and discovery efforts, interfacing with technical and business teams to establish credibility through experience, presentation, and leadership in solutions development.
- I evaluate proposed new systems, changes, and additions while overseeing the decision-making process.
- I act decisively and swiftly in rapidly changing and unpredictable situations, demonstrating a strong initiative and exceptional ability to identify and seize opportunities while proactively planning projects and tasks.
- I apply an advanced understanding of assigned clinical and business operations, processes, and workflows while discussing dependencies with project team members and stakeholders. I maintain collaborative customer relationships, ensuring that the customer’s needs are fully represented in all updates.
- I review and provide constructive feedback on documentation created by others, articulating issues and complex concepts appropriately for the audience.
- I have the skill to build strong and positive relationships with management at all levels.
- I demonstrate an advanced understanding of business strategies and utilize my expertise to help meet customer goals and outcomes. I tackle new challenges through experimentation, learning from both successes and failures, and engage in creative problem-solving beyond standard recommendations and practices.
Description
The work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. This position is a full-time role, and we are looking forward to welcoming a qualified candidate who can contribute to our team.
