Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field.
- I am looking for a candidate with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in designing and optimizing large-scale corporate system environments. This should include hands-on experience in cloud-based Infor Birst ETL and BI platforms, as well as in system and application performance modeling, focusing on tuning and optimization with a strong emphasis on the Infor Birst platform and dimensional data modeling.
- You should have at least two (2) years of experience in training teams, enhancing their capabilities in managing architectural, migration, and upgrade components of Infor Birst, as well as in infrastructure engineering, software development or consulting, system administration, system architecture, and application or data system architecture.
- I expect candidates to have the Infor Certified Birst Analyst Associate certification.
- Infor Certified Birst Administrator Associate certification is also required.
Responsibilities
- I will assist in the development of the information system vision and strategy of the organization, as well as in the development, implementation, communication, and promotion of strategic and tactical plans.
- I will research and participate in beta testing of new systems and technologies to evaluate their suitability for our environment.
- I will evaluate proposed system acquisitions and provide critical input to the decision-making process regarding compatibility, cost, resource requirements, operations, and maintenance. I will develop plans and recommendations to improve the performance and efficiency of assigned systems, addressing all aspects, including hardware, software, and outside services, while considering cost-effectiveness, budget, and other resource issues in addition to technical matters. Standards and procedures for multiple areas of technology will also be developed and implemented by me.
- I will participate in developing standards, design, and the implementation of proactive processes to collect and report data and statistics on assigned systems as well as perform research and testing to verify the impact of system installations.
- I am committed to maintaining in-depth knowledge and current certification in various areas of information technology.
- I will be responsible for infrastructure design, performance modeling, and capacity planning.
- I will independently provide guidance and leadership on architecture design initiatives and lead teams through complex system design and implementation initiatives.
- I will ensure architectures are flexible and support business needs by maintaining an understanding of business strategies and infrastructure capabilities.
- I will work with various technical resources across the team to facilitate the development of technical standards.
- I possess strong communication skills and can develop and present solutions to all levels of management, including executives.
- I will participate in gathering requirements, engaging with technical and business teams to establish credibility in experience, presentation, and leadership of solutions development.
- I will evaluate proposed new systems, system changes, and additions while providing oversight in the decision process.
- I am prepared to act quickly and decisively in fast-changing, unpredictable situations, demonstrating initiative in tough scenarios and proactively planning projects and tasks.
- I will apply my advanced understanding of assigned clinical/business operations, processes, and workflows, discussing and identifying dependencies with project team members and stakeholders while maintaining collaborative customer relationships.
- I will review and provide feedback on documentation written by others, articulating issues and complex concepts appropriately for the audience.
- I will develop strong and positive relationships with management at all levels and demonstrate an advanced understanding of business strategies to help meet customer goals and outcomes.
