Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related discipline - In-depth technical expertise in Enterprise Application/Integration Design and Development of systems, databases, operating systems, and Information Services - Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to develop and lead technical teams - Minimum of five (5) years of development experience in a corporate setting required - Two (2) years of supervisory experience and leading development teams preferred - Practical experience in Design and Coding - Familiarity with industry-standard WEB platforms (JAVA, .NET/C#), Integration Middleware, Automation (RPA and Test Automation), Microsoft Internet Information Server, Linux, Apache, Unix, and Microsoft Foundation Server - Experience collaborating with Internal or External customers to coordinate tasks and design solutions - Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Waterfall Methodologies preferred

Responsibilities

- Meet expectations as outlined in the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies, including Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders - Serve as the primary representative during various implementation phases such as building, configuration, testing, go-live support, and optimization - Lead focus area workgroups, providing oversight for related processes - Facilitate communication between application teams and organize cross-application work sessions - Collaborate with application and compliance teams to design effective system processes - Act as a liaison for customers, engaging with end-users or business contacts to comprehend business needs and convey requirements and timelines - Stay updated on Epic systems, including Nova release notes, User Forum, Galaxy, and other documentation available through the Epic User Web - Develop and maintain documentation while remaining informed on new features and functionalities to improve efficiencies in the focus area - Maintain expert knowledge of all relevant technologies in relation to specific job responsibilities - Collaborate with Application teams including Application Development and Business Process Owners to design, develop, and maintain applications in accordance with policy and requirements - Pursue professional development through reading, seminars, workshops, and professional organizations to stay current in the field - Provide technical input and implementation guidance related to existing applications that align with enterprise-level architecture strategies - Support execution of CHRISTUS’ overall information systems strategy, aligning with the organizations vision in both strategic and tactical plans - Lead team adoption and integration of strategies to ensure optimal and efficient delivery - Evaluate proposed system acquisitions or solution developments, contributing to the decision-making process regarding compatibility, costs, resource needs, operations, and maintenance - Establish standards and design proactive processes for data collection and reporting on assigned systems - Conduct research, design, and implement applications, databases, and interfaces using provided technology platforms - Be available to work outside normal hours as needed, including long hours during critical outages and on-call rotations - Perform additional duties as assigned
