- Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in the focus area preferred.

- Must either be certified or proficient in the assigned Epic module (to be obtained within six months of the date of hiring).

Responsibilities
- I analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and optimize assigned applications, solutions, and business processes to meet operational and technical needs.
- I work collaboratively across projects with various teams, think creatively to propose practical solutions, and provide oversight and project management for assigned tasks.
- I maintain a solid working knowledge of subject matter expertise, supporting projects, customers, and other teams while proactively seeking to enhance my expertise in the assigned applications/systems.
- I demonstrate a thorough understanding of operations, identifying opportunities to enhance customer usability, efficiency, and experience. I represent user needs and expectations for larger, more complex system updates and enhancements, providing clear and organized status reports on key project areas for stakeholders.
- I perform process and requirement analyses, including process mapping through flowcharts, documentation, future needs planning, stakeholder analysis, and requirement gathering, to deliver cross-team solutions. I am responsible for executing gap analyses and providing recommendations.
- I communicate complex design and configuration issues clearly to end users and project stakeholders, and I maintain relationships with end-user leadership post-engagement while proactively addressing conflicts.
- I contribute to strategic discussions by identifying options along with their pros and cons alongside team members, facilitating timely decision-making and making sound choices even when complete information is lacking.
- I adhere to organizational standards for system configuration and change control.
- I possess strong technical proficiency in application design and configuration, and I can independently analyze, design, and configure applications while teaching these concepts to new team members.
- I foster strong relationships with end-user communities, customers, and business partners.
- I collaborate with Operational Leaders to focus on standardized best practices for workflow processes and content, ensuring alignment across all ministries for optimal operational processes.
- I coordinate code changes with the appropriate vendor concerning financial and business application issues.
- I work with the Technical Team to identify infrastructure-related issues that may result in application problems.
- I share industry best practices from vendors with Operational Leaders.
- I continually enhance my technical knowledge of the assigned application, including understanding the relationships of infrastructure and the impact on users if it's unavailable.
- I operate as a liaison between business operations, providers, internal IT, system users, and vendors to meet defined project objectives for issue resolution.
- I follow strict change management processes, ensuring proper approval, testing, and validation of system changes.
- I provide consistent and attentive written documentation to end users and leadership, demonstrating my ability to communicate proactively.
- I regularly review and self-correct my skills, habits, work ethic, and behaviors to manage my work cooperatively among peers, remaining sensitive to how others perceive me.
- I proactively troubleshoot and resolve moderate incidents and requests independently.
- I uphold high standards for the quality of work for myself and others, providing oversight and feedback on my team members' designs, configurations, and deliverables.
- I manage medium-complexity projects and requests, collaborating with team members as necessary, and proactively evaluate new releases and functionalities of applications.
- I complete assigned courses in Healthstream or other electronic tracking tools for educational materials in a timely manner, or attend presentations as assigned.
- I ensure my services contribute to achieving the primary mission of the department.
- I escalate issues when SLAs are not met or appropriate vendor actions are lacking.
- I may be required to travel to fulfill my duties and work additional hours during critical problems when necessary.
- I assist in preparing and conducting formal or informal training sessions for users and coworkers.
- I identify and seize new opportunities, demonstrating a positive attitude regardless of the situation, and I step up to handle challenging issues.
