- Capable of making decisions on routine cases with minimal supervision

- Preferred certifications relevant to area of expertise, specifically for Epic Analysts: certification in assigned Epic module (must be obtained within 6 months of employment)
Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and maintain or enhance assigned applications, solutions, and business processes to meet operational and technical specifications
- Collaborate across project boundaries with other teams
- Think creatively and offer practical solutions to challenges
- Provide oversight and manage projects related to assigned tasks
- Demonstrate sound subject matter expertise to support projects, customers, and teams while actively seeking to expand knowledge in assigned areas
- Regularly utilize application training, web resources, and materials, guiding newer team members in their usage
- Understand operations thoroughly to proactively enhance user experience and efficiency
- Represent user needs in complex system updates and enhancements
- Deliver clear and organized status updates for critical project areas to inform stakeholders
- Conduct detailed process and requirement analysis, including mapping current workflows, documenting future needs, and gathering specifications for cross-team solutions
- Perform gap analysis and provide actionable recommendations
- Clearly communicate complex design and configuration issues to end users and project stakeholders
- Maintain relationships with end user leadership post-engagement
- Address conflicts with end users proactively
- Contribute to strategic discussions by identifying options, pros, and cons with team members
- Facilitate timely decision-making and sound judgments even with incomplete information
- Recognize when quick solutions are sufficient
- Adhere to organizational standards for system configuration and change control
- Demonstrate strong technical skills in application-specific design and configuration
- Articulate core design concepts clearly to end users and train new team members in these concepts
- Establish productive relationships with end user communities, customers, and business partners
- Work with Operational Leaders to align standardized workflow practices and content across all ministries to create efficiencies
- Manage code changes with relevant vendors related to financial and business application concerns
- Collaborate with the Technical Team to address infrastructure issues impacting applications
- Share industry best practices from vendors with Operational Leaders
- Increase technical knowledge of assigned applications, particularly regarding infrastructure relationships and user impact when unavailable
- Act as a liaison between business operations, internal IT, system users, and vendors within defined project objectives to resolve issues
- Follow strict change management procedures for system modifications
- Provide consistent and thorough written documentation for end users and leadership
- Function as an effective team player, proactively communicating issues and concepts to project leadership
- Regularly assess and enhance personal skills, work habits, and behaviors for effective collaboration among peers
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve moderate incidents and requests
- Maintain high standards of work quality for oneself and others
- Oversee and provide feedback on the design and deliverables of team members
- Manage medium complexity projects and requests, collaborating with team members as necessary
- Evaluate new releases and functionalities of applications proactively
- Complete assigned educational courses and attend presentations as required
- Ensure services contribute to the departments primary mission
- Escalate issues when service level agreements are breached or vendor actions are not being fulfilled
- Travel may be required for task performance
- Additional hours may be necessary during critical incidents
- Assist in preparing and conducting training sessions for users and colleagues
- Identify and embrace new opportunities, exhibiting a proactive attitude in challenging situations
- Undertake other duties as assigned
