Requirements
Must:
- Associate or bachelors degree preferred in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in application support, help desk, or IT customer support within a professional setting.
- Experience in Federal, DoD, or Army IT environments is preferred.
- Proven experience in trouble ticket management, user access support, issue triage, and customer service in a dynamic environment.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Familiarity with enterprise information systems, databases, or case management platforms is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas to non-technical users.
- Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to turn data into actionable insights.
- A commitment to precision, accountability, and excellence in program support.
- Ability to pass a background check (National Agency Check or higher) as needed.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for TAP IT trouble tickets concerning the TAP Database System of Record, TAP Virtual Center Tools, and Government Furnished IT resources.
- Log, classify, prioritize, and monitor tickets per established procedures and severity levels.
- Perform initial assessment to ascertain the suitable resolution path or escalation.
- Resolve standard issues related to user access, permissions, accounts, connectivity, and functionality within the authorized scope.
- Maintain documentation of all actions, timelines, and results to align with ARIMS and contractual obligations.
- Elevate complex or systemic problems to the System Design / IT Liaison and relevant Government IT stakeholders.
- Coordinate issue resolution efforts and ensure tracking until closure.
- Assist in the testing and validation of system fixes and enhancements before they are released enterprise-wide.
- Take part in regular coordination meetings as required.
- Ensure that Counselors, Regional Managers, Installation Managers, and Government Stakeholders have uninterrupted access to TAP systems.
- Monitor ticket trends and pinpoint recurring issues or gaps affecting service delivery.
- Identify and report data discrepancies, user errors, or system behaviors impacting reporting accuracy.
- Help compile metrics, summaries, and briefings pertaining to system performance and support trends.
- Propose updates to SOPs and job aids whenever system or policy changes take place.
- Follow compliance with AR 25-2, cybersecurity, and information assurance regulations.
- Complete all necessary Government and contractual training requirements.
