Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of communication and routing protocols

- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and best practices
- Practical experience with routing protocols and cellular technologies

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting firewalls and Layer 3 switches
- Background in network administration and system management
- Proficiency in diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools
- Proven track record of success in collaborative, team-oriented environments
- Preferred: Masters degree in Information Systems
- Project management capabilities
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in a user-friendly manner

Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain network infrastructure and security across multiple locations
- Configure, implement, and support network and telecommunications technologies
- Administer network infrastructure and assess system requirements, proposing and implementing suitable solutions
- Install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Plan and execute system automation initiatives to enhance efficiency
- Manage daily network operations, providing hardware/software support and leading special projects
- Ensure support for network and remote connectivity hardware/software
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, support logs, and system records
- Install, configure, and sustain network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance, security, and user access privileges
- Establish and manage user accounts and security protocols for file sharing
- Conduct weekly configuration backups and troubleshoot network issues
- Communicate effectively with leaders and stakeholders regarding projects and incidents
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency support
