Senior Network Engineer - Cisco/Firewall

- Install, configure, and uphold network hardware and software infrastructure following industry best practices - Set up and configure devices, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi controllers, firewalls, and web-filtering software/appliances in line with Authority systems - Provide direct technical support while engaging with APN technologies such as IPSEC, SSL, VPN, and AnyConnect - Conduct routine network maintenance and troubleshoot issues, documenting solutions for future reference - Monitor network performance, ensuring effective capacity planning and proactively recommending enhancements - Implement performance optimization strategies to boost network efficiency - Execute analytical, technical, and cost analysis tasks for planning, designing, and upgrading network infrastructure - Oversee and execute testing for network changes and upgrades to validate compliance with standards and protocols - Identify and resolve issues with network equipment, offering effective and budget-compliant solutions - Maintain documentation of network issues and resolutions, converting them into business metrics and generating standard reports for management - Research enhancements to network functionality and support productivity with advanced engineering tools and techniques - Collaborate closely with team members to achieve joint objectives and provide timely and thorough communication regarding risks and complex administrative processes - Complete additional duties as assigned
