Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret clearance required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Over 5 years of experience in Windows Server administration within a DoD or enterprise setting
- More than 3 years working with Active Directory or LDAP
- Proficient in STIGs, SCAP scans, ACAS, and RMF/ATO processes
- Familiarity with Oracle or similar RDBMS at the system level
- Experience troubleshooting server, web, or database service issues
- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Manage and patch Windows Server 2019+ environments, including both domain-joined and standalone systems
- Implement and uphold DISA STIGs using STIG Viewer, SCAP, and various DoD compliance tools
- Address ACAS scan findings and assist in closing out POA&M activities
- Maintain and support IIS, ArcGIS Server, and Oracle services at the operating system level
- Oversee user and group permissions via Active Directory and local security policies
- Contribute to RMF and ATO documentation efforts, such as maintaining baseline configurations and control evidence
- Monitor system event logs and provide assistance for incident detection and response
- Collaborate with the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and document system alterations
- Ensure backup and recovery processes are maintained for Windows-based enterprise systems
- Aid in software inventory, patch application, and system hardening initiatives
- Assist in developing routine SOPs, checklists, and audit preparations
- Execute additional job-related responsibilities as assigned
